  2. Any excuse for celebrating Spring is a wonderful idea... I love this time of year and I saw my first butterfly out from hibernation just a few days ago!
So, there will be many more hungry caterpillars around in the summer :)

  3. I just made a bulletin board celebrating the 45 years. My children are soooo happy with your books that is amazing to see how great artists like you can catch children and engage them into reading!!! Thank you for your work!

  4. We have been studying you and your wonderful books and artwork in my Head Start classroom. The children put together their own book on The Woolly Bear caterpillar based on the theme of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear what do you see?" Would love to send you a copy. Should we send to your museum? Thanks for all you do for all children around the world! What an inspiration you are!

  5. Dear Mr. Eric Carle,

We wanted to take a moment to thank you for your stories as they have impacted countless children in our Kai Ming Head Start program, which serves low income 3 to 5 year old children and their families in San Francisco. You are one of our favorite authors and it is our teachers' dream to have a full set of your books, which we have been accumulating one by one. Your stories and illustrations have put smiles on faces and have captivated our community young and old. Thank you for your contribution to the field of early childhood education and for adding to the wonder of learning in our preschool classrooms.
